Residential Program

Inter Wichita is looking for Host Families for its 2024 Spring UPSL season (Approximately May – July.) Having a host family is potentially one of the biggest and most influential aspects of a player’s Inter Wichita experience. The majority of our players are from the Wichita and surrounding areas, but some are not. Wichita will be a new place for them – away from their family, home, and school.

A host family will help give players who are moving into a new environment a safe and stable atmosphere in which to live over the summer. The residential program also helps foster a relationship between the Wichita community and players who will be living in Wichita for the first time. We believe that relationships formed between the host families and players will last a lifetime. This is one of the most ideal ways to help the club and its players.

No, players are asked to find their own transportation and often pair with another player who has their own transportation.
The players are quite busy themselves, and spend most of the day training, working, participating in community events, traveling for away games, and hanging out with teammates.
The players are able prepare their own meals, and during away games, the team provides food for the players.
There is no limit to the number of players that an individual family can host so long as all standards and expectations are met.
Yes. Each Host Family and player/parents are required to sign an agreement on an annual basis that clearly outlines the expectations of all parties involved in Host Family-Club-Player relationship.

Host families get complimentary tickets to all home games for the entire season. Discounts on merchandise are also provided, among other perks.
