Inter Wichita announces that Martin Penafiel has departed his role as Head Coach. Martin put in tremendous work to ensure that our inaugural season was successful on and off the field and because of him, the teams’ foundations for long-term success have been built.
Martin leaves with our sincerest thanks for his tireless efforts as Head Coach and our very best wishes for the future. His place in the club’s history will always be secure, not just for being the first Head Coach during the clubs’ UPSL inaugural season, but as a great man and mentor who gave us many great moments. He will forever be welcome back as part of the Inter Wichita family should he come back in the future as a coach or in a different operating capacity.
The Team has been working hard to find a suitable replacement and we will soon be announcing the new Head Coach for the upcoming UPSL spring 2022 season.
