WICHITA, Kan. – Last Saturday, on February 24th, soccer players from in and around Wichita gathered for the 2024 Inter Wichita FC tryouts. The event was run by Assistant Coach Noah Vezzu, who was impressed by the talent on display. According to Coach Vezzu, there’s a lot of potential in the new players that could make a positive impact in the upcoming UPSL season.
“The talent we saw during the tryouts was really good,” Coach Vezzu said. “We were looking for players who not only play well but also understand the game and want to contribute to the team. I believe the new players will bring something special to our team in the UPSL.”
The tryouts included various exercises and matches, allowing players to show off their skills, teamwork, and strategic thinking. Coach Vezzu stressed that they’re not just looking for players who score goals or make flashy moves but also those who have the right attitude, discipline, and dedication to the team.
